Introducing Rivervale Lodge, our new onsite guest accommodation, available from March 2025 – bookings and deposits accepted from 1st February 2025.
The beautiful new accommodation will consist of nine double bedrooms, one family room, and a breakfast room where everyone can gather the next morning. It will sleep up to 20 adults (plus 2 z-beds for children).
We’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that Rivervale Lodge offers the comfort and style your guests deserve. Our goal is to create an inviting space where your guests can enjoy a truly restful night’s sleep. We’re thrilled to share our initial mood boards, offering a sneak peek at the inspirations, colour schemes, ceramics, and fabrics that will bring our vision to life.

Beautiful and peaceful, the Cornstore Cottage is the perfect place to escape to when your wedding day draws to a close. It’s full of gorgeous details and there’s no better place to spend your first night together.
Over 450 years old, the building is the last remaining part of the old Yateley Water Mill that operated on the site for more than 1,000 years. After being carefully renovated, it’s ready to welcome you.
As newlyweds, you will have full use of the accommodation from 12 noon on the day of your wedding through to 10 am the next morning.
Our Cornstore Cottage is only available for the wedding couple to stay overnight as children are not permitted in the cottage once the ceremony has taken place.
Cornstore Cottage is utterly charming and perfect for your wedding day. A glorious open-plan bedroom includes lots of traditional barn features, an impressive fireplace and a luxurious bathroom. Your bridal party will have use of their own private bathroom, which is ideal as everyone prepares for your wedding day.
The cottage will be unquestionably yours – the soft furnishings change to match your colour scheme, your cards and gifts appear here as if by magic and the following morning, a continental breakfast will be waiting for you to enjoy together.
When will Rivervale Lodge be available?
Rivervale Lodge will be available for all weddings taking place from March 2025.
What does Rivervale Lodge comprise of?
Rivervale Lodge comprises of 10 bedrooms.
Nine of the bedrooms (one of which is DDA compliant) are double en-suites PLUS we have one family en-suite bedroom, sleeping 2 adults and 2 children (double bed and 2 x z-beds*).
There is also a communal room, The Breakfast Room, for you and guests to meet in the morning over breakfast to reminisce about the previous day.
*For children 13 years and under.
How many guests can stay overnight?
We can accommodate up to 22 guests in total, including 2 children.
Do we have to take all rooms in Rivervale Lodge?
All 10 bedrooms will need to be taken to book Rivervale Lodge.
What is the price of Rivervale Lodge?
Rivervale Lodge is available to book in its entirety for £2,300 (inc. vat) inclusive of The Cornstore Cottage, our fabulous honeymoon suite.
We would like to book Rivervale Lodge. When is payment due?
We ask for 50% (£1,150) initial payment two months after you have secured your wedding date and then the remainder (£1,150) is due six months before your wedding date.
Can guests book the bedrooms and pay individually?
No, this is not possible.
Can I allocate certain bedrooms to certain guests?
Yes. We will require confirmation six weeks prior to your wedding date for your final room allocation details and any additional requirements.
Are the bedrooms accessible?
Our rooms are easily accessible, but if a guest requires additional assistance, please enquire separately and also let your Event Manager know in advance. Please note, we do not have a lift to any of the upstairs bedrooms. There is one DDA bedroom on the ground floor.
Do you have a family room?
We have one family room, sleeping 2 adults and 2 children (13 years and under) (one double bed and 2 x z-beds).
Do all rooms have their own door and lock?
Yes.
Do you have hair-dryers, irons and ironing boards we can use?
Yes.
Do you have tea/coffee making facilities in each of the rooms?
Yes.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is included.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast will be served for you and your guests between 8am and 9am in the Breakfast Room. If you or your guests have any dietary requirements please let us know.
Can more guests join us for breakfast?
No, the accommodation is exclusively for those guests staying overnight in the Lodge and the Cornstore Cottage.
When can we come and see Rivervale Lodge?
Building work will be taking place right up until our completion date, however we are looking to arrange some events over the coming months to enable you to take a look around. Keep an eye on our social channels or sign up here to receive more information as it becomes available.
Once we have booked, how do we allocate rooms to our guests?
Once you have paid for Rivervale Lodge in full, a link to the accommodation portal will be sent to you 2 months before your booking. From there, you will be able to allocate rooms out to your guests.
What is the check in/out time?
Check in is from 3pm on the day of your wedding. Check out for both Rivervale Lodge and the Cornstore Cottage is by 10am the following morning.
Can we stay the night before the wedding?
This is something that may be possible, depending on availability closer to the date of your wedding. We will release availability four months prior to your wedding. Please speak with our team if this is something that you may be interested in.
Can children be left alone in the rooms while their parents attend the reception?
No. An adult must always supervise all children in the accommodation and around the venue at all times. This is a condition of your hire.
Do you have travel cots or any other baby facilities in the accommodation?
Unfortunately, we don’t have any travel cots available, however you are welcome to bring your own.
Are dogs allowed to stay in the accommodation?
Only assistance dogs are permitted to stay in the accommodation.
